As we approach the holidays, it is a good time to remind people about general safety as we approach the holidays.
- Please be watchful and report anything suspicious. Call 561-822-1900 and press 0 to speak to dispatch
- Always know who is around you, especially when you are shopping or in a parking lot.
- Keep windows and doors locked when you are not at home.
- Never leave valuables visible in your vehicle. Takes all valuables out of your vehicle or place them in your trunk.
- If you purchase new electronics or computers do not leave the boxes out by the curb for recycling. Take the boxes to a recycling dumpster and place it there. (there is one in the alley on the to the south of the 400 block of Clematis)
- Check you alarm system and motion detectors to be sure they are working properly.
- Report any odd noises or sightings immediately to the police.
